What are the types of internships?

There are various types of internships. But I would like to mention the relevant types of internships.

They are:

1. Stipend type (Paid)
2. Non-Stipend type (Unpaid)

• Profit organization.
• Non-Profit Organization.

Let’s see one by one

1. Stipend type or Paid type:

This is a type of internship in which if any person opts under this internship then the company will pay some amount as a salary or per task usually called Stipend. Hence its name is stipend internship. Please refer to the below picture to understand clearly.

2. Non-Stipend type or Unpaid Type:

This is a type of internship in which if any person opts under this internship then the company or Non-government organization (NGO) will not pay any amount for the task (work) usually called Non-Stipend. Hence its name is a non-stipend internship. Please refer to the below picture to understand clearly.
