Dextrose is chemically Deglucose monohydrated form. It is freely soluble in water.
It is used to treated Hypovolemia that can result due to dehydration injury and bounce.
It is antedote for acute alcohol intoxication, insulin over dose.
It is used to treate Hyperkalimaia.
