      All the arteries have a pulse, but it is easier to palpate feel the pulse at certain location s. 

      It is easier to feel pulse and near site of the artery near surface of skin and where firm tissue beneath the artery.the three most common sites are the radial (wrist), carotid ( throat) and brachial ( inside of elbow).

      Radial artery most commonly palpate for taking a pulse.

      Radial;the radial pulse is taken  at a point where a radial artery crosses the bone s of the wrist. It patient hands turned that palm is up the radial pulse is taken thumb top side of wrist.
