Regenerative braking is a way of taking the wasted energy from the process of slowing down a car and using it to recharge the car's batteries. On a normal car, braking simply wastes energy - but with regenerative braking, some of the energy is able to be reused.

James Gosling, Mike Sheridan and Patrick Naughton initiated the Java language Project in June 1991. Java was called Greenlalk by James Gosling because his small team of Sun Engineering called “Green Team”. Later Greenlalk was changed by Oak as it was a symbol of Strength and choosen as a natural tree of many countries like USA, France, Germany etc. Later, this was changed by Java due to trademark of oak by Oak Technologies in 1995.

Thus,In 1995, Java was developed by the Green Team. You may also say “James Gosling“.
