NexTec Interior Solutions – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all design, consultation, manufacturing, supply, installation, renovation, and turnkey interior services provided by NexTec Interior Solutions (“Company”) to its customers (“Client”). By accepting a quotation, making a payment, or engaging our services, the Client agrees to these terms.

1. Scope of Services

NexTec Interior Solutions provides:

  • Interior design consultation
  • Space planning and 2D/3D designs
  • Modular furniture and custom furniture solutions
  • Residential and commercial interior works
  • Civil, electrical, plumbing, painting, and false ceiling works
  • Material procurement and project execution
  • Turnkey interior solutions

All services shall be limited to the scope specifically mentioned in the approved quotation, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), or agreement.

2. Quotations & Pricing

  • Quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
  • Prices are based on approved designs, measurements, materials, and scope of work.
  • Any change in design, material, dimensions, or scope may result in additional charges.
  • Market fluctuations in material prices may affect project costs if work has not commenced within the quotation validity period.

3. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • 10% Advance – Project Booking & Design Initiation
  • 40% – Design Approval & Production Start
  • 40% – Before Installation/Execution
  • 10% – At Final Handover
  • All payments must be made through official company accounts.
  • Delay in payments may result in project delays.
  • Work may be suspended until outstanding dues are cleared.

4. Design Approval

  • Clients must review and approve all drawings, layouts, material selections, and finishes before execution.
  • Once approved, changes may attract additional charges and revised timelines.
  • Up to two design revisions are included unless otherwise specified. Additional revisions may be chargeable. Community discussions among homeowners and designers commonly recommend defining revision limits in advance.

5. Project Timeline

  • Timelines commence after receipt of advance payment, final measurements, design approval, and site readiness.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to site conditions, client delays, vendor delays, material shortages, weather conditions, or force majeure events.
  • NexTec Interior Solutions shall not be liable for delays caused by factors beyond its reasonable control.

6. Site Readiness

The Client shall ensure:

  • Uninterrupted site access
  • Availability of electricity and water
  • Required permissions from builders, societies, or authorities

Delays arising from site unavailability may result in revised schedules and costs.

7. Materials & Finishes

  • Natural variations in wood grain, veneer, marble, stone, laminates, fabric, and paint shades are normal.
  • Material samples are indicative and final installed products may vary slightly in appearance.
  • Equivalent materials may be used if approved materials become unavailable.

8. Additional Work

Any work requested beyond the approved scope shall:

  • Be documented separately
  • Require written approval
  • Be billed additionally
  • May affect project timelines

9. Warranty

  • Warranty applies only to products and services specifically covered in the project agreement.
  • Warranty does not cover:
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Water damage
    • Termite infestation due to site conditions
    • Improper use or maintenance
    • Damage caused by third parties

10. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Booking advances and design fees are non-refundable once design work has commenced.
  • Custom-made products cannot be cancelled once manufacturing begins.
  • Refunds, if applicable, shall be subject to deductions for completed work, materials procured, and administrative costs.

11. Client Responsibilities

The Client shall:

  • Provide accurate information and measurements where applicable
  • Approve designs and materials within agreed timelines
  • Make payments as per schedule
  • Inspect and report concerns during project execution

12. Handover & Acceptance

  • The project shall be considered completed upon final handover.
  • Minor touch-ups, if any, shall not constitute grounds for withholding final payment.
  • Any defects observed during handover should be reported in writing within 7 days.

13. Limitation of Liability

NexTec Interior Solutions shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of business, profits, or opportunity
  • Delays caused by third-party vendors, authorities, natural disasters, or unforeseen events

14. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes
  • Pandemics
  • Material shortages
  • Transportation disruptions

15. Point-Wise

  1. Customer must pay full amount of material at the time of billing of the material.
  2. Customers have to pay cost of delivery of the material i.e. transport cost.
  3. Case 1: If in case a customer goes with design other than perpendicular, may result additional material that the customer has to bear for it.

16. Intellectual Property

All drawings, concepts, renders, layouts, and design documents remain the intellectual property of NexTec Interior Solutions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall first be resolved through mutual discussion. Failing resolution, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Patna, Bihar, India.

18. Acceptance

By signing the quotation, work order, agreement, or making any payment, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
